Why Bhadohi Mahotsav? 

Bhadohi Mahotsav is more than just a celebration—it is a mission to uplift the region and its people.

Despite Bhadohi being globally recognized as the Carpet Capital of India and a major exporter, the region still faces challenges of underdevelopment. This Mahotsav aims to bridge that gap by focusing on rural growth and community empowerment.

We actively promote local agricultural products and Khadi, helping farmers and artisans reach wider markets and gain the recognition they deserve. The festival also serves as a grand platform for local artists and sportspersons, giving them opportunities to showcase their talent on a larger stage.

Bhadohi Mahotsav is a special event for the people of Bhadohi. It is the main source of entertainment for villagers and brings happiness to carpet weavers and industry workers. It also gives local artists and sportspersons a big platform to show their immense talent.

Our vision is simple yet powerful—to improve the lives of the underprivileged, create opportunities, and build a stronger, self-reliant community.

For the past 8 years, the Bhadohi Mahotsav Society has driven this initiative independently with dedication and passion. Now, with the support of the Uttar Pradesh Government, we are set to grow exponentially—expanding our reach, increasing our impact, and transforming more lives than ever before.
